where can I see printers and devices in ubuntu 11.10

When I used windows OS, I could see in printers and devices when I plugged in my cellphone. Where can I see this in Ubuntu 11.10?
I'm having problems, since I'm a newbie, importing my pictures from a cellphone to my computer files. Please help. thank you.

You should be able to see your cellphone is the default file manager, nautilus. It should be displayed in Computer just like any hard drive.
