share directory/files with another user

I would like to share my photo gallery with other users on my laptop, so that they can 'point' Shotwell to them.

I can see the 'Examples' folder -- I would like to know if I can use something similar!

If you make a group then add both users to the group, you can then make the group owner be the new group and give the group read or write access or whatever you want. You can also add extra users to the group and they will also get access.
