The trash folder dose not empty ,

The trash folder dose not empty ash & ,click empty trash ,,or when i go through file then click empty trash , can this be sorted ? As i wish to clear these items .

Try to do this:
1. Open a terminal by hitting CTRL + ALT + T
2. Insert and run this command:
rm -rf ~/.Trash/*

Helped a little bit. usualy shows a progess window but no progress bar and then times out and then locks down computer only to cure is manualy shut off computer with power switch after doing this it just tims out with out doing any thing but dosen't lock computer

I tried reentering the command and now my terminal is saying no such command and also states that I'm asking for things I'm not asking for. I still can't empty trash . If I try to use the icon on the loncher bar the commputer locks up . Also I'm having trouble inputing coments or my password the stops letting be enter text while I'm typing.
