Latest updates to oneiric beta unstable loses controls

I applied the published updates to oneiric beta this morning, and now I no longer get any controls except for a menu in nautilus. ALT+F2 is not working, so I can't get get a console command in.

Hope you will be able to fix this soon. Since I can't open a console, I am unable to give the usual version information. Unity appears to be broken.

Thanks for editing my title. I couldn't get any more info because I had to boot using the hardware restart button to get anywhere.

OK, I am not sure how to do this since the version is off the air at the moment and I don't have access to the various caches.
