If you open ~/.local/share/Trash/ do you see the files?

Now there is no problem of "Trash"-(159267). Also the Audio problem (159036) is solved. I cannot tell how they were solved. I had tried various suggestions and instructions, though not very systematically and one day found them corrected.
However the Printer problem of Canon LBP2900B -Chinese make ,(160541 & 159984) still remains . I am getting hopeless now that I shall not be able to use my printer on Ubuntu. I have tried to follow the various instructions of the UBUNTU Forum, as I understood but to no result. When I tried to install "Radu..script", I got.."invalid command" and "no such files in the directory". I don't know much of using "shell". A detailed step by step description only can help me.
