Binary package hint: nautilus

when try to open places vlc starts and search for media file and play it

thats something to ask on the answer tracker, you probably selected to open a directory with vlc as default and that is what's causing the effect, please ask on the answer tracker how to disable that.

Hi Sir,

I'm not able to open anything(Pictures, Videos, Documents) from Places, it directly going to VLC.

I have to go to computer and open the file .

I tried to fix by pressing alt+ F2 but not able to find out the file management link

Please advise
