memory card on hp7450 printer

I have the printer installed(and works fine)but can't seem to find after inserting a memory card into the front of the printer. I've downloaded hplip-2.7.9.run but as a new user I can't seem to get it to run, as I was hoping that it would solve the problem.

To run the hplip-2.7.9.run you need todo the following in a terminal: "chmod +x hplip-2.7.9.run" follow by "sudo ./hplip-2.7.9.run"
