10.10: Nautilus

Asked by peter

Hi

If I click Places > Home Folder, Firefox opens instead Nautilus.

What can I do? Thanks a lot.

Is this only with the 'Home Folder' option? Or with all the folders?

It's also with Desktop, OwnData, Music, Videos, Downloads and USB_Stick.

It works ok, if I click Network, Connect to Server, Search for Files and Recent Documents.

Thanks.

I think you've got the default folder-handler set-up incorrect. Make a new folder on your Desktop and right click -> Open with... and click 'Folder Handler'. I think that should solve your problem.

Wow - man, thanks a lot. The problem has solved.

I didn't have an entry called "Folder Handler" but I had an entry called "Open Folder". I clicked it and now it works. Thanks a lot and have a great time.
