cannot open, home folder, documents, desktop, music, pictures, videos, or downloads under "places"

Asked by Taylor Scott

If I click Places on the top menu bar, I cannot access: Home Folder, Documents, Desktop, Music, Video, Pictures, or Downloads. If I click on any one of those the computer thinks for about 5 seconds and then a small window opens that says "Error - File not found." But if I click on Computer under Places I am able to open them. It appears the shortcut or directory has been misplaced or moved some how. Any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks
