Hello !

Did you install gtkpod and all his dependencies ?

Which kind of iPod do you have (is it a brand new one ? If so, Apple made a move to prevent non-iTunes software to use them : http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/technology/2007/09/15/new_ipods_not_ready_for_linux_either_by_design.html)

Benoît

Hello !

The correct way to install software in Ubuntu is to use System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager. If you installed GTKPod via synaptic, the dependencies should have been automatically installed.

Benoît
