Windows Volume won't mount and won't show up in Grub

Asked by vil33

I get this error after trying to mount the volume:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/ sdal1, missing codepage or other error.

Additionally, the partition doesn't show up in Grub.

Please help

Thanks.

Try to boot in windows *twice*.
Add this lines to /boot/grub/menu.lst to show windows on grub (replace the title with the string you prefer):

title Windows
root (hd0,0)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
