When selecting 'Places/HomeFolder' brasero starts

If Braseo is installed and I select 'Places/Home Folder', or any selection, Brasero starts a new session. I removed Brasero and everything then works fine, When Brasero is reinstalled it takes over again. How do I release Brasero? Or is there an other cd burner?
