Adding subdirectories to the Places menu

I'm wondering how to add subdirectories to the Places menu (File and Folders panel in UNR).

There are certain subdirectories I save files to often, but it's tedious having to navigate to that subdirectory over and over again when I'm using it frequently to save and retrieve files.
