If you have a BIOS password that you've forgotten/do not know, usually you will have to reset the entire BIOS settings, which tends to involve moving a jumper for a few seconds, or removing the motherboard's battery temporarily. The details should be in the user manual.

However, if you set the password yourself, and it's just that the computer isn't accepting it, it could be down to the problem described on this page:

Basically, press Caps Lock before you start typing, and if the password's longer than 8 characters, only type the first eight of them.
