Can't find files in search

Asked by Glyn Turner

Recently upgraded to 10.04 but unfortunately lost one of the most important functions: SEARCH
When I press the right most magnifying glass and type in the part of the file name there are 0 results even if I know the file is there.

Changing the drive using + doesn't seem to help either.

This worked find in 8 & 9

Any assistance would be gratefully received...

Maybe your search criteria is wrong. I recomend you to check options and if everything else fails to use regular expressions.

Unfortunately I do not have the powers to change the state of this question to SOLVED, EXPIRED or INVALID. Someone here at Launchpad either grant me that permission or simply apply the change in state to this question, please.

Can you help with this problem?
