load music from homemade disc

I burned all of my music & word files from vista onto disc. How do i load them onto ubuntu?

Put the CD into your CD tray and wait, you can then copy the data from the disk. If you used Vista's own burnin software you may get troubles as it uses some weird "standard".

I got some of my songs from napster- some of these it will play & some not. why?

Are all songs in same format?From software center install ubuntu restricted extras and add Medibuntu repository to your source list.Guide is at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu.After that go to system>admin>synaptic and search and install w32 codecs.
