I didn't have this error before. What I did most recently:

I moved my /home directory to a new separated partition (ext4) from the terminal (gdm stopped).

Afterwards I mounted the new /home, started gdm, logged into gnome and finally got the crash-report "nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gconf_client_remove_dir()".

I will try to reboot wiht the "old" /home in / and with the "new" home on the separated partition to see if it makes any difference.
