nagiosgrapher shows old graphs

Asked by rayKwebster

I have 8 current defined ngraphs for one host. I have changed the service names several times because this is a new installation and I had to edit the ngraph names serveral times. All of the previous names have stayed in the dropdown box for services once you get into the nagiosgrapher web page for this host. Is there someplace that these old names are stored so that I can remove them from the dropdown list? the system works fine, but there are blank graphs for these old services if you click on them.

I have searched all config files for both nagios and nagiosgrapher. I have removed all rrd files and let nagiosgrapher create new ones, but the old service names remain in the dropdown box.

I found where nagiosgrapher was getting the extra/old service names to remain in the dropdown list. it was in /var/lib/nagiosgrapher/rrd/index.ngraph. Apparently this file is automatically created and added to as you add hosts and services, There is does not seen to be an automatic course for nagiosgrapher to remove none-existent hosts and services.
