my sql server(mythtv)=why can't i get software updater to recognize that i have deleted mysql(mythtv) and stop screwing with my system over that useless server!

i have tried playing around with kodi/xbmc for the fun of seeing how messed up something could possibly get. You guys used to do a better job.you should take xbmc off the software center.It will never function because to many programmers have contributed into it and no one skin works more than 75% of the time.Each one has it's own special limits and problems! So, now, when i want to delete mysql and kodi, software updater can't stop trying to solve the simple fact that i no longer want kodi/xbmc/sql server/MythTv screwing my computer up. I just got amazon fire tablet/stick/ with Plex Media Center. i just hope you experts can stop the software updater from "solving" the non-problem before Ubuntu 15.10 is out on 10-22-15.

If a skin doesn't work then it is the issue of the skin.

"to many programmers have contributed into it" is ignorant nonsense. The kernel itself has a development team has over 1,200 developer. And that was just the 2.6 kernel

If you submit bugs to report issues, rather than petulant rants in forums then things get fixed.

Lots of people use and enjoy Kodi and MythTV. You can see them using it on YouTube. They won't be going anywhere soon.
