What does it take to get multistrap 2.2.0ubuntu2 into trusty?

multistrap in trusty is completely broken. It won't run at all. The issue has been fixed already in 2.2.0ubuntu2, but that package version is not available yet in trusty. What does it take to get the trusty package updated?
