The Installer keeps asking for http proxy forever

Asked by Phan Quốc Huy

today, I tried to install msttcorefonts package in Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64. I could accept the EULA, but when the HTTP proxy dialog showed up, I can't input anything, tab enter has no effect. Please help !

Do you use a proxy? If not, have you had one installed previous which you since removed?

No, I have never used any proxy. even if I use some proxy, that dialog is still kind of bug, because I can not insert anything, pressing enter takes no effect. :(

plzz help. how can I get rid of it (every time I run "dpkg --configure -a", the same dialog appear, I can't install other software as well :(

Please try:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure ttf-mscorefonts-installer

or

sudo dpkg-reconfigure --force msttcorefonts

Can you help with this problem?
