Thunderbird 2.0.0.21: Lightning

Hi

I installed the Add-on Lightning in Thunderbird. And it looks nice.

But I'm not able to create a new event. The entry "New event" is always disabled. I checked the help but I couldn't find the solution.

Do you have an idea what I've to do to create a new event? Thanks.
