Web-based email with Thunderbird

When i read and delete emails in Thunderbird it doesn't update my web-based email account (yahoo) and i was wondering if there is an easy way to synchronise both?

At least it looks like it'll solve my answer once i've managed to download and install the add-on lol. This connection is driving me up the wall.
