Mozilla Thunderbird Could not be installed(i386)

Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy on Toshiba Tecra S5

Install went fine. I wanted to upgrade further packages and Thunderbird for Email

Application > Add/Remove

Selected Mozilla-thunderbird

#Displays

"Canonical proviodes technoical support ..
Mozilla Thunderbord could not be installed on your computer type (i386).Either the application requires specific hardware features or the vendor decided not to support your computer type. "

Similar messages are found for other packages

Any clue ?

Hi, please go to System>Administration>Software Sources and choose "Main Server" in the list Download from.
