You can tell us how you've installed Flash, what version of if, what distribution you're using (dapper, edgy, feisty [i386 amd64 ppc]).

Does this happen with every flash site?

Can you tell us how you installed Flash?

There are packages in Ubuntu's universe/multiverse repositories that will allow you to painlessly install Flash. Once you enable these repositories, install "flashplugin-nonfree".

If you use the virtual machine VirtualBox from www.virtualbox.org and have audio enabled, this guarantees (at least for me) to crash Firefox on pages that contain multimedia. When I kill Firefox several windows are left in the background. Whichever one you kill, kills them all. The only solution I found to this problem is to disable the audio in VirtualBox.

Can you help with this problem?
