Configure Motion

Motion works a charm and is great.

I would like to know how to configure Motion to my liking. I can only run Motion when pressing ALT+F2 and entering Motion.
I would like to change the amount of fps; brightness, contrast, etc.

Hi Peter B

this answered my question perfectly and helped me tons.
It took a while for me to figure it out and get my head around, but my home security is now set up and running perfectly.
