Can I restrict access to the live webcam feed provided by 'motion'?

I am trying to use 'motion' for motion detection in my house. I have set it up to broadcast live webcam server and have opened the relevant port in my router. Can I restrict access to this live webcam feed by a username/password authentication?

I have revoked this question as I have realised that 'motion' does not have this feature. I intend to look elsewhere for this functionality (ZoneMinder?)
