MongoDB version 2.6 EOL

Hi,
it looks like mongoDB 2.6 reaches it's end of life on the 31st of October 2016 (according to https://www.mongodb.com/blog/post/mongodb-2-6-end-of-life). Will MongoDB 2.6 be further maintained by the community in Ubuntu 16.04 or will there be a mongoDB 3.2 version in the universe repository?

If the version in the repository is EOL then please report a bug and the development teams will upgrade to a supported version.
