Momentary freeze (audio glitch/silence) in Linux

Asked by rootsandculture

Hi, I noticed a momentary freeze silence when loading a track into the deck when using a low Audio Buffer. Is it normal?
Seems under Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS) there a long delay between the playing song and the one I'm previewing in Headphones. (It didn't happens in Windows)

Any ideas how to fix it?

I need to use an 2.67 ms audio buffer to hear a synchronized preview with the playing song, but it generates that glitches when loading the tracks to the decks.
With an 21.3 ms audio buffer the glitches disappears.

I found a way to fix it, changing the Master delay buffer to play synchronized with the output.
