problem in installing miro from software center

Asked by John Kelly

I have problem in installing miro from softwear centre.
E:I wasn't able to locate a file for the libio-socket-ssl-perl package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package. (due to missing arch):
I perhaps foolishly while updating from update manager tried installing miro aat the same time from softwear centre and it wasnt installing so i quit. After updates were finished I tried miro again but got the above message, the same thing happened while trying to install mail notifier.
thanks
John
