I can't see my close minimize and maximize button in any of my window. What should I do to appear it again?

I was trying to change my theme similar to the metallic theme of the MAC Leopard suddenly in the middle of my configuration there was a dialog box that appear and i could the not move it that why i don'have the chance to READ . What should I do? I also lost my desktop dock ... all i can see in my screen is my cairo dock and the folders of the extracted items from the theme that i was trying to apply .. please answer this .. Its really have to work in this kind of situation..

open a terminat or ALT+F2 and type:

in terminal: metacity --replace &
Or
in ALT+F2 dialog box: metacity --replace
