How to customize up (main) panel in 10.04?

How to customize up (main) panel in new Ubuntu? I mean - add lm-sensors, compiz and so one.

2) How to get back "close, minimize..."? It's gone!

Press ALT+F2 and run:

metacity --replace

Will get them back, seems your video hardware isn't configured right
