How do you copy files in RDP connections?

I am using kubuntu and I am trying to copy a file I need from remote desktop but it seems as if Kubuntu's and Ubuntus clipboards are retarded when I try to do that.

I have tried copying paste, connecting local devices to remote desktop and using copy paste method none worked I also tried the drag-file-from-one-folder-to-another-method that microsoft is quite fond of bolth from the local device connect and just onto my oun desktop.

Helps?

There is a reason I ask stuff here...Mostly because I don't know a crap about what half the things they tell you about are
