please let me know what version of me tv is working with ubuntu 10.04.3

You can try with other software like kaffeine to see if the problem is in
me-tv or in your system. Sometime this is cause by bad reception (Your DVB
signal is weak). Did you installed me-tv from the software center ? What is
the DVB device you're using ?

Hi again.Thank you for your answer.
the device i'm using is PHILIPS TDA 10064H DVB-T and the tvcard is ASUTEK P7131H.I've download the me tv application from
www.webcoz.com but i will try something else with the antenna because signal strenght was around 60 %
