chmod +x ./cansecureretail.pkg
sudo ./cansecureretail.pkg

Should do it,assuming the file is an installer binary. Is the file not for a Mac?

A pkg fiel is an installer for a mac, you will need to download the linux version. If in the future you ever have to open an installer binary, action parsnip's terminal commands will do it for you.
