intellihide coming soon?

hi there!

just lookjng for a way to get a panel with intellihide (not Autohide, which always hides - not just when a window is maximized.) and thought maybe you might apply some update in the original mate panel? using a touchscreen you can't work with autohide, since when it's hidden there is no way to get the panel visible again.

what a crap. just clicked on that "solved" button by accident and I can't undo it.

guys, I don't like parrots. please read my post again: I ALREADY WROTE that it's not possible to use Autohide with thouchscreen. That's why i want Intellihide applied in the panel.

clarification:

Autohide: always hides and when you go with the cursor to the edge of the screen it shows up. (not possible with touchscreen)
Intellihide: only hides when the window you are currently working on is maximized (in full screen). using a touchscreen, you just minimize the window you are working with and then the panel shows up again.

at least that's what I understood. Check the package "plank" (preinstalled alternative dock on Ubuntu Mate 18.04), it has intellihide functionallity.
