Where is the firmware the description mentions?

There's a note that you need to install new firmware on the MobilePre before these drivers will work. Where do you find the firmware?

Probably http://usb-midi-fw.sourceforge.net/
but see the comment "The loader is not required for some newer models of the above devices"
