How can Linux decompress old Macintosh .HQX files?

Asked by george_rutkay

.HQX was an old compression format used on older Macs. So was BinHex.

Is there any way to allow a Linux machine to access these archives, even run the programs in emulation (Motorola 68000 processor)?

Thanks

Something is wrong. I installed macutils. But there is no man page for it. And I am still unable to open the .HQX file I have.
