Is there any plan to make the core of utilities/check-imports a standalone project?

Hi,

I randomly stumbled across:

and since we have something akin "maasfascist" in Landscape, I find the idea of a static checker intriguing, more or less for the same reasons outlined in:

Any plan to make the core a standalone project and leave in maas only the declarative part of the its specific rules?
