MAAS simple active-backup bonding for deployed nodes

I have found a blueprint on here that indicates that advanced networking is being looked into and now the status is "implemented" but I fail to see how bonding is achieved with MAAS for deployed nodes (via MAAS or Juju through MAAS).

Is bonding something that is being implemented?
