The original debian maintainer of libm17n is MIA, so Harshula, who also packaged the -contrib, -docs and -db packages, took it over and is currently working on packaging the latest upstream version. So, it seems we still have to wait a week or two until we have up-to-date packages.

I hope this waiting time is acceptable, if not, we'll have to discuss what to do.

One option would be to fix the backspace issue in the Telex IM in 1.3.1 and use that one for Hardy.
