how I can place permantly items in task bar such as terminal, firefox,etc.

how I can place permantly items in task bar such as terminal, firefox,etc.?
Right-click on lxpanel gives only widgets and not apps.
Drag+drop dont works either.
Whatever i have read is before 5, 8 years that such possibilities existed.
I dont know how to add eg. terminal to stick on the lxpanel.
