Backport 0.9 to precise

Asked by MSch

13.04 ships with 0.9 and 12.04 has 0.8 in the backports. Would it be possible to add 0.9 to precise-backports?

https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-lxc/+archive/daily/+packages has packages of 0.9 for precise but those are daily builds, not a "released" version like the one that shipped with 13.04.

Thanks for considering it!

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-lxc/daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lxc

If all is well, remove the PPA to save getting other updates from the PPA (or keep it in, your choice).

This works, but I'd like to depend on the lxc version that shipped with 13.04. I'm managing multiple servers so I'd love to have a "stable" lxc not one that depends on the daily build.

There may be other PPAs. If you think it should be updated in the official repos I suggest you report a bug. If the bug fixes and security fixes are significant the package will be updated sooner.

Can you help with this problem?
