Is it likely or even possible that lvm2 will be ugraded in ocelot?

I would like to know if the next version of Ubuntu may have a newer version of lvm2 in it. If so which version? Thank you.

The latest in redhat is 2.02.86

in Oneiric is the same as in Natty.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/lvm2

You could report a bug request to update to new version.
