Why do I have double click to reopen a window in my task bar.

I just installed Lubuntu 10.4.
And I'm using Mozzilla thunderbird.
When I click a URL it opens and pops up firefox and when I
click thunderbird I have to click twice

Do you mean click twich on the gnome panel with thunderbird sat on it?

A screenshot may be clearer.

When I click a url in thunderbird it opens firefox, and when I
click on thunderbird again sort of fast it takes two click to open.

I think if I wait awhile it only takes one click.

I reinstalled Kubuntu 10.4,,,

I do not have that problem now.
