Epson USB printer not detected

In Natty I never had any problems with my Epson Stylus USB printer - was detected and correctly used from day 1.
With Oneiric it's "gone". lsusb shows it:

Bus 003 Device 008: ID 04b8:0803 Seiko Epson Corp. Printer (Composite Device)

But in the printer dialog, nothing happens - adding a printer does not show the detected ones.

I understand your feeling. But is this really a bug about lsb source package? Please seek help through other channels if needed.

Excuse me laughing a bit - did you see how OLD this bug is? By now I found a fix and yes, it has been a bug in Oneiric, almost 2 years ago now...
By now, Ubuntu has much bigger bugs that don't get any attention - maybe I get answers for that stuff in 1 year...? ;-)
