log4cpp thread safety

Asked by Iyed

Hello all,
I would like to use log4cpp as a logging library in some large c++ software and I would like to know if the library is thread safe. I have read the code of the library and seems to be some code related to thred safety but the question is log4cpp has already been tested for MT application. I Looked on the main page log4cpp.sourceforge.net and the strange think is that in the small FAQ the following question appears: "Is log4cpp thread safe ?" and it is not answered whatsoever !!!

Best regards !!

Although this is not a question which should normally be asked here since it has nothing to do with Ubuntu I would recommend using log4cxx (http://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/index.html) instead of log4cpp because log4cpp is outdated and was, when I looked into it a few years ago, not thread safe.

Can you help with this problem?
