Please make available Lmms VeSTige plugin(lmms-vst package) on ubuntu 13.10 64bit Cause its a future 1000% needed and its critical ! for the usabillity of the app.

Please make available Lmms VeSTige plugin(lmms-vst package) on ubuntu 13.10 64bit Cause its a future 1000% needed and its critical ! for the usabillity of the app.

I am using ubuntu 13.10 64bit and LMMS doesn't have the VeSTige plugin (package:lmms-vst)
And its too pity cause with this plugin lmms can compete the most professional software of this kind.
--I found a god workarround but its not the right way and maybe this method could broke my packaging system cause it involves installation of older version .deb packages along with simple extraction of .deb files in /usr etc

Please fix that !
I don't care about the latest version just make this plugin available cause vst (virtual instruments) its essential.

Have you tried installing from this PPA?

I quote from that page:

"Packages of Linux Multimedia Studio including freedesktop integration. Also, VST support on 64bit system is available.

Note: To use the VST support with Wine, you have to assign /usr/lib/lmms to some drive letter using Wine configuration (winecfg). Otherwise, Wine cannot load VST plugin (VeSTige)."

i installed the latest windows version and ran it under wine.

this works a treat since vst support only runs under wine anyways!
