I installed LMMS ( Linux Multimedia Studio ) on Ubuntu 11.04 beta, but it doesn't appear anywhere on the menu.
The application launcher states that 'Your search did not match any applications'.
Am I doing something wrong?.

Can you open a terminal and run "lmms" from there? Does that work?

If it does, right-click on a panel, click "Add to panel", and then "Custom application launcher". Put "lmms" in the Command box. You can then use that launcher to run LMMS.

I was able to run lmms from the terminal as suggested and I added it to the application launcher, but it still doesn't appear anywhere else on the menus.
However, I'm happy that it's now working.
Thank you for your help.
