lm_sensors 1:3.4.0-4 unknown devices in sensors-detect

Asked by Ritesh

Hi,
I am running lm-sensors1:3.4.0-4 for Bionic on my ThinkPad x250 (Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, Kernel 5.0.0-29-generic). During sensors-detect, I get unknown device errors (unknown chip with ID 0x1901 in Super-I/O, also another unknown SMBus adapter). I see that missing devices for Kernel 4.19+ was fixed with lm-sensors 3.5 release, which is already updated for Disco Dingo. Can the bionic version be updated to this latest release as well?
Thanks- Ritesh
